Modern slavery and human trafficking statement
Servicom (High Tech) Limited · Financial year ended 31 March 2026
This statement sets out the steps Servicom (High Tech) Limited has taken during the financial year ended 31 March 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains. Our turnover is below the £36m threshold in section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, so we publish this statement voluntarily. It follows the six areas recommended by the Act's statutory guidance. It should be read with our Anti-Slavery Policy and our Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.
1. Our business and supply chains
Servicom (High Tech) Limited (company number 02353848) is a UK critical communications integrator based in Redditch, Worcestershire, with additional offices in Crawley and Redcar. We employ around 40 people, all in the UK.
We design, supply, install and maintain two-way radio systems, in-building coverage (DAS), CCTV, body-worn cameras and private LTE for public sector, transport, infrastructure and commercial customers. We are a Motorola Solutions Platinum Partner.
Our supply chain consists of equipment manufacturers (principally Motorola Solutions), authorised UK distributors, software vendors, specialist installation and civil works contractors, logistics providers and general business suppliers. We buy equipment through authorised UK channels. Much of that equipment is manufactured overseas by global manufacturers.
2. Our policies
We have zero tolerance of slavery and human trafficking. Our Anti-Slavery Policy and Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy apply to all employees, directors, agency workers, contractors, consultants and business partners. They are supported by our whistleblowing policy, which lets anyone raise concerns confidentially and without fear of retaliation. Concerns can also be reported to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
3. Due diligence
- We expect suppliers and subcontractors to have their own anti-slavery policies and processes and to comply with ours.
- Our supplier contracts include warranties of compliance with anti-slavery law and our policy, and we may terminate contracts with suppliers who breach them.
- We carry out right-to-work checks on everyone who works for us, and apply the same expectation to contractors working on our behalf.
- We maintain direct contact with our key suppliers so that they understand our expectations.
4. Risk areas and how we manage them
We assess our own direct operations as low risk: our workforce is UK-based, directly employed and paid through our own payroll. The areas of higher potential risk are:
- Overseas electronics manufacturing. This includes the sourcing of raw materials and minerals. We manage this by buying from established global manufacturers through authorised channels. These manufacturers operate their own supply chain due diligence and publish their own modern slavery statements.
- Subcontracted and agency labour. This covers installation, civil works and agency workers. We manage this through right-to-work expectations and direct supervision of work on our customers' sites.
Measuring effectiveness
We assess the effectiveness of our measures to identify and address modern slavery risks through:
- Right-to-work documentation and payroll audits.
- Regular contact with the next tier of our supply chain to confirm their understanding of, and compliance with, our expectations.
- The number of concerns reported through whistleblowing or other channels, and how each is resolved.
- An annual review of our supply chain policies, codes of conduct and working practices.
6. Training
All new employees are introduced to our anti-slavery policies at induction. Our management team is trained in modern slavery risks and is responsible for compliance within their departments and supplier relationships. The Compliance and Quality Manager monitors and audits compliance with our policies.
