Within Managed Services we’d be working to install regular software upgrades and patches, guaranteeing long-term software stability, up-to-date security features and better system wide integration. From a hardware point of view Terminal equipment would be refreshed every five years. This maintains the look and design of the devices, always important but especially for front of house and gives a long shelf life with new batteries and technology. It ensures the integrity of the system, upholds user faith in functionality, whilst offering the latest technology and it mitigates end of life issues.
Our Managed Service provision is coordinated by our operations team of engineers. Providing a range of support services according to customer needs; from working hours emergency call-out to 24/7/365 business-critical support, you can rely on Servicom to keep your infrastructure operational.
Work within the day to day of our Managed Service provision will fall within the day to day operating costs remit of OPEX, as opposed to any installation services that become part of the planned capital expenditure, CAPEX, for the year. Risk based business models, centring on the more current approach of combining expenditure to see the whole as a fixed cost, under the models of TOTEX, work particularly well with the overall, always there, expertise of our managed service provision.
