Case Study 1

Servicom installed a trunked solution to meet a busy retail centres communication needs.

Utilising  Servicom expertise the centre have benefited from a managed Servicom system, with the initial user profile exceeding 100 members of staff.

The need to privately communicate between various individuals and groups , such as Security, Cleaners and Maintenance  was of fundamental importance.  As such a fully managed trunked system enables the client to meet these needs and focus on their core activity, with Servicom providing regular maintenance and continual system support. A fixed cost monthly enables effective cost forecasting and budgetary control.

Employing Servicom’s expertise, the centre has used the system to meet specific operational issues. 

Including:

• 1) Installing a telemetry system that enables barrier control.
  This enables remote control of the barriers from the control room or any radio, alleviating a previous resource drain.
• 2) Servicom has installed 85 call points in the retail centre area, including external points.
  As a total service provider Servicom produced, installed and maintain these points. Providing innovative solutions; Servicom combined their radio expertise with a leading solar power expert.

This enables remote call points to operate without the need for mains wiring, enabling a wider range of positioning possibilities. Additionally, to further increase functionality the centre has utilised the unique Servicom MPT1327 Despatch System this provides unparalleled ease of use and superior functionality.

Understanding the needs of the client, when combined with Servicom’s system expertise has enabled a commercial relationship that enables the customer to maximise the benefits received from a cost effective and highly innovative solution.

 

Case Study 2

Servicom have installed Canopy, a cost effective, reliable point to point wireless internet solution for a small business requiring a wireless network for two office locations.

As a Motorola authorised dealer, application partner and licensed developer we are at the forefront of supplying innovative wireless solutions.

Servicom have installed the Point to Point 100 modules the “entry level “module of the range (with a 2 mile line of site range) for a small business wishing to provide wireless coverage to two offices within close proximity.

This enables to offices and their workers access to a wireless broadband network

 

The Actual Canopy module is an aesthetically subtle, easy to instal, wireless network solution 

This has enabled the company a reliable wireless network that was installed by Servicom engineers, at the clients request in a matter of hours. Motorola’s canopy delivers superior performance and security (with over the air Data Encryption Standard and is available with Advanced Encryption Standard).

There is simply a one off charge for the product and Servicom provided the client with consultancy and installation services. 

Canopy has had proven international track record with clients including government bodies, airlines, and health authorities.

The lower cost of Canopy makes high-speed Internet access, web browsing, e-mail — and even more advanced applications like VoIP and multi-media services — available to a wide range of clients

Case Study 3

Personnel  at a water park , including jet ski patrol men involved in the Royal Yachting Association’s training sessions, needed rugged submersible radio’s to communicate with each other in operational and emergency situations.

The patrolmen needed a communication solution that included the use of ancillary radio equipment so they could communicate whilst operating the jet bikes, creating ah high level of background noise.

Servicom supplied the Entel HT720 VHF radio with IP submersibility rating (5 metres depth for 60 minutes). The team at the centre use the HT720 radio housed securely in a vest pocket and used with an integrated speaker/microphone helmet system.
