Servicom installed a trunked solution to meet a busy retail centres communication needs.

Utilising  Servicom expertise the centre have benefited from a managed Servicom system, with the initial user profile exceeding 100 members of staff.

The need to privately communicate between various individuals and groups , such as Security, Cleaners and Maintenance  was of fundamental importance.  As such a fully managed trunked system enables the client to meet these needs and focus on their core activity, with Servicom providing regular maintenance and continual system support. A fixed cost monthly enables effective cost forecasting and budgetary control.

Employing Servicom’s expertise, the centre has used the system to meet specific operational issues. 

Including:

  • 1) Installing a telemetry system that enables barrier control.
    This enables remote control of the barriers from the control room or any radio, alleviating a previous resource drain.
  • 2) Servicom has installed 85 call points in the retail centre area, including external points.
    As a total service provider Servicom produced, installed and maintain these points. Providing innovative solutions; Servicom combined their radio expertise with a leading solar power expert.

This enables remote call points to operate without the need for mains wiring, enabling a wider range of positioning possibilities. Additionally, to further increase functionality the centre has utilised the unique Servicom MPT1327 Despatch System this provides unparalleled ease of use and superior functionality.

Understanding the needs of the client, when combined with Servicom’s system expertise has enabled a commercial relationship that enables the customer to maximise the benefits received from a cost effective and highly innovative solution.
